How it works

Acquiesco is built around one quiet overnight loop.

Detect the snore event, send the smallest useful intervention, and stop as soon as movement confirms you have repositioned.

01

Start a sleep session

Acquiesco iPhone start screen ready to begin a session.
Apple Watch showing the Acquiesco app connected and ready to start a session.

Bring the Acquiesco iPhone and watch apps to the foreground (iPhone on the nightstand, charging) and that's it. The iPhone starts listening for snoring.

02

Silent wrist signal

When loud noises are detected, Acquiesco notifies the watch, which silently vibrates to partially rouse the wearer. Vibration frequency and intensity step up only as needed until you tap the watch or shift position. Then Acquiesco backs off and keeps listening.

What you need

Best setup for the product experience

  • Place your iPhone on a nearby nightstand, roughly 2 to 4 feet away.
  • Wear the Apple Watch for quiet haptic nudges.
  • Grant microphone access on iPhone and Health access on watchOS.
  • Use a relatively quiet room so the app can calibrate accurately.
What it does not do

Not intended for diagnosis

Acquiesco is designed to help reduce partner-disturbing snoring by prompting a position change. It does not diagnose sleep apnea, does not provide medical monitoring, and should not replace clinical evaluation when symptoms are serious.
